We'll start out today ensuring that everyone can access the standings now that I will be updating and posting them multiple times each day through Selection Sunday. If anyone is having any access issues with the link or excel file please let me know right away so I can fix it. Missouri Valley Conference
This morning started off with the Arch Madness quarterfinals and games continue throughout the afternoon. (1) Northern Iowa was able to easily get by (8) Illinois State while (4) Loyola Chicago absolutely destroyed (5) Bradley, giving Izzy a loss. We have two more Arch Madness games today, which means more opportunity for losses.
Big South
The 1 seed had a scare early this morning as (9) NC AT&T almost beat (1) Longwood, however Longwood pulled it out in overtime. This game tipped off at 9:00 AM Pacific Time, conference tournament time is great! In the second Big South game (4) SC Upstate was able to easily beat up on (12) Charleston Southern. Additional Big South games are scheduled to be played later today as well.
A few other notes from today:
- The Southern Conference tipped off today
- Huge Ohio Valley Conference semi-finals tonight
- The West Coast Conference plays late today, but not yet to anything impacting our pool picks
- A handful more conferences finalized seeding, you'll notice some changes in seeds but no changes from a bonus points perspective
