Ohio Valley Conference Championship Game Preview

We will have our very first March Madness Tournament ticket punched today with the Ohio Valley Conference Championship game tonight. We will also have our very first points in our pool when (1) Murray State takes on (3) Morehead State. Below is a summary on what this game means for our pool.

• 86% of our picks are on top seeded Murray State
• Even before the Ohio Valley Conference Tournament started, Murray State had a 61% chance to win

The championship game is the highlight today, but we do have 8 other conferences playing conference tournament games today and 12 conferences in the middle of tournament action in total. Conferences that tip off today with opening round action include the Colonial Conference and Summit League. Much of the action today will have impacts to our pool as people rack up losses.

Atlantic Sun

• The semi-finals start today and our pool picks are all across the board in this conference
• Any bonus point potential has been eliminated from this conference, mostly due to the odd seeding

Big South

• I can copy and paste the same sentence used for the previous conference with the semi-finals starting today and our pool picks are all across the board
• Bonus points are available with seeds 1 through 4 all alive and playing today

Missouri Valley

• Arch Madness continues today as the 1 through 4 seeds play in semi-finals action
• Bonus points are still in play and this is yet another conference where our picks are all across the board

Northeast Conference

• The theme today is semi-finals as the NEC is our 4th conference today in the semi-finals
• Our picks are more chalky in this conference spread between (1) Bryant and (2) Wagner, but we do have a handful of us on (3) LIU
