Longwood Dancing for the First Time Ever and Sister Jean is Back

For the first time in school history (1) Longwood is going to the NCAA Tournament after absolutely blowing out (2) Winthrop in the Big South Conference Championship game. Overall, this was a terrible game as it was super boring, but if you were one of the few on Longwood then you appreciated this easy win. Only 6 people were on Longwood, making this a nice win for those that picked correctly.

Our second conference championship game today was in the Missouri Valley Conference where we saw (4) Loyola Chicago come back from an early deficit to beat (3) Drake. 25 out of 35 people had Loyola and as I said previously, this is not a conference you wanted to lose due to the bonus point situation. Having said that, everyone in the pool is now on the board with at least one win, the earliest that it has ever happened.

Other notable losses from conference tournament action today include (9) Northeastern & (7) Elon in the Colonial Conference, (6) Albany in the America East Conference, (4) Wofford & (3) Samford from the Southern Conference, (3) Boston in the Patriot League and (4) Troy in the Sun Belt Conference.

The standings are updated through all Sunday games and conference tournament seeding is complete for all 32 conferences. Yes, you're about to read this accurately when you see 3rd place. Our top 3 through Sunday night: (1) Heffron, (2) Tim and (3) Nuzzi
